From a traveler's heart - A trip of a lifetime!

Solo traveling is my forte but very recently only I discovered the immense pleasure prevailing in the world of travel. Hence, I have covered ten or so places in North India and I was planning to explore some of the South Indian wonders for my vacation. I have checked a lot of websites to have a clear picture of the best packages available at a reasonable rate. And then GlobalDuniya happened. I saw on their website that they are welcoming guest bloggers. I contacted the team and sent some of my blog work. To my surprise, it was well appreciated and they even gave me access to their beta version website exclusively so that I can book packages for my vacation and that too for a very minimal price. The tours were actually different and attractive when compared to many other sites. Then I searched for quite impressive South India tour packages. I don’t know still how Kerala trip made me awe-struck for a minute but without much thinking I knew that I was going to book Kerala trip. I have called them and inquired about the whole package and I am beyond happy to share with you a fact that I have never experienced this kind of immediate and faultless assistance whenever I tried booking tours before. Firstly, I would like to extend my gratitude to GlobalDuniya for letting me understand each point regarding the particular tour, helping me to have a hassle-free booking and guidance at each point of my tour from the start day to the end day.

Thus, I also became a part of the large clan who have explored Kerala, in an extensive way. My trip was for one week starting from Cochin and covering the most of the southern Kerala including the famous Bekal beach. I was quite concerned about the stay and travel since I have no clue about the language of Kerala but for my surprise, everything went on well. Since my flight tickets and the transportation in Kerala during the trip were pre-booked according to my wish, that part was also solved without much turmoil.

And yes! It is Kerala man! I was specific about the days I am spending there. So I made Alleppey as the priority destination where I felt the fallen pieces of paradise were gathered together. From Cochin, I traveled to Alleppey by car and there was a guide waiting for me at Alleppey Station. From there, I moved to a boat jetty and I was travelling in a boat with a lot of people around for the first time. Then I got to know that boat is the primary transportation mode for a majority of Alleppey natives. Once I arrived a point where my stay was arranged. It was a home stay kind of accommodation, I was experiencing the best of hospitality at the home stay. A very calm home stay nestled amidst the salubrious nature, dotted by thick greenery on all sides. Yet another feature is that the home stay was close to the famed backwaters of the place which has a moniker, ‘the Venice of the East’.

Standing here and watching these waves was one of the best things of this trip!

The lazy wind blowing directly from the backwater lulled the window panes of my room throughout the night extending to me the calmest night of my life.
